Miller Center Presentation
2201 Old Ivy Rd, Charlottesville
Friday, March 2 | 11:00 am-12:00 Noon

For anyone interested in an interactive, audio-visual overview of the work of the Miller Center, Bill Antholis will host people back at the Center for a session looking at what history can tell us about President Trump’s First Year, and where this presidency may be headed. Coffee, bagels and donuts will served.

The Miller Center specializes in presidential history and public policy. Its efforts include oral histories of the Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush administrations. It also leads in transcribing the secret Oval Office recordings of the Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon administrations. The Center has both full-time scholars and shared faculty with other parts of the University. Bill has been director of the Miller Center since 2015. He returned to UVA after 10 years at Brookings, where he was managing director. Before that he served at the White House and State Department, as well as a few other think tanks. Dress is casual.
